Ministers’ Study Grants

Ministers (NOM, LOM, Amorangi) in good standing in the PCANZ, including those who have been accepted through the Receptions process by the Personnel Workgroup, and have been asked to complete supplementary study as part of the requirements.

Usually 50%–75% of course fees are awarded.

Yes – include travel and accommodation costs in your application. However, subject to funds available, course fees are the priority cost that is met. Travel and accommodation are secondary considerations and are on a case–by–case basis.

If your application is successful, the financial grant is paid when you produce a GST receipt for approved costs. We do not pay out on an invoice.

Yes – applications for self–directed study or less formal courses can be submitted. Such applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

These are trust funds, and Presbytery endorsement of the study provides an extra layer of transparency and accountability so it is clear the trust funds are being used for legitimate purposes.
