Susan Peters

Registrar

Susan Peters

Susan has been with KCML since March 2017 and currently works 24 hours per week, undertaking a wide variety of administrative duties. With a background in banking, finance and administration, the position and hours of work are a good fit for Susan and KCML. Other than day to day administration, a large part of the role involves event management, such as organising block courses held at KCML during the year, annual foundation student gatherings and noho marae (among others). Assisting with KCML’s Annual Budget is another area that Susan is heavily involved in. She also assists with Senatus, and the administration of these meetings. She lives locally with her partner David, and adult son Cameron. Her daughter Darcy, lives in Wellington, and is studying at Victoria University. Family is hugely important to Susan and she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her immediate and wider family and friends, and derives great joy from attending as many of her musical children’s performances as possible.
